HISTORY OF THE FOUNDATION OF NATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATION AND NATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL SMK SURAKARTA
Education Foundation of the National Pharmaceutical Surakarta (YPFNS) has worked more than 50 years in education with the motto "Feeding, Healthy Nations Children of All Time". History YPFNS spearheaded by dr. Raden Slamet Prawironoto. He was a freedom fighter, nationalist, and doctor. Doctor's educational background, he felt the need to establish an institute of health education in the field of pharmacy.
So, with the help of several colleagues, founded the National Pharmaceutical Education Foundation Surakarta (YPFNS) on September 12, 1957. Composition of initial board is dr. R. Slamet Prawironoto (Chairman), whose members Boediwirjo, Soeroto, Hario Soekrisno.The first step is to establish School of Pharmacist Assistant (SAA), which was helped by Liem pendiriannnya Bie and Yap Thiam Siong Khing, Apt.
Based on the soul and their nationalist spirit, the name of the SAA SAA National repaired. This school received government recognition to the Minister of Health Decree No. 144/Um/SAA/Pend./60 dated October 15, 1960. Then, as regulatory changes in 1979 under Minister of Health Decree No. 49 of 1979 renamed the Secondary School of Pharmacy (SMF), National Surakarta. In the year 2007, pursuant to a permit issued by the Office of Education Youth and Sports No. Surakarta city. 420/247/SA/2007 transformed into Vocational School (SMK), National Pharmacy Surakarta.
